With less then two weeks left in the election campaign for Canada's 41st parliament, and with more time on my hands then I had expected in order to read things about all of the candidates running for the position of Canada's 41st Prime Minister, I came upon information that truly scared me about the people in power in my country right now.
Given my options of where to post this information I considered Facebook, or a personal website, but given what one of Mr Harper's promises is, I decided to go for more of a non-personal format, that can be seen beyond my closed circle of Facebook friends so that maybe more Canadians will be able to open their eyes and see what I have been reading over the past 3 weeks, and seen over the past few years of a man who has publicly claimed that if we give him a majority government, we wont' recognize our Canada.
Just a little about myself....
What party do I affiliate myself with? Mostly Liberal, with some old Progressive Conservative thrown in.....
If you look the the CBC Vote Compass I fall below and to the left of both parties....
I studied Political Science, and at the end of the day just wanted to be done with it.
I love photography and working with young people which I do as a volunteer, and why I want to keep this OFF Facebook since many of them are linked to me on there, and I'd prefer to entice them to vote and make up their minds for themselves on there.....
I have nothing against the OLD Conservative Party of Canada..... it's the post Conservative Reform Alliance Party that I feel we all have much to fear from..... all you have to do it look at their roots.
I'm in my mid 30's and I live in Ottawa......
